Pro Ally

ProAlly is dedicated to ensuring that Allied Health practitioners can choose to continue their practice. Their focus is the removal of obstacles preventing these crucial members of our healthcare industry from providing care to their patients.

Their values are:

  • Bravery – Using the courage to face situations as they are – not as we want them to be
  • Rationality –Approaching problems with reason
  • Authenticity – Being true to ourselves and our values
  • Visionary – Looking ahead to the opportunities and obstacles in the future
  • Empathetic – Exercising a deliberate effort to understand others’ points of view

ProAlly wanted a logo that represented a shield but in an abstract fashion. We provided a few initial concepts, and after review, the client chose this almost finished design. After a few color adjustments, the client gave the final logo the green light, and we began the development of their website.

Capital Matrix

Capital_Matrix_logoCapital Matrix is a private, non-profit corporation licensed and regulated by the U.S. Small Business Administration to administer the SBA 504 loan program. They help business owners with real estate and equipment financing so they have the chance to grow and thrive.

Capital Matrix wanted a new logo and website after almost 40 years of using their past logo. I wanted to create a simple icon representing the large and small businesses they help. Through a process of sketching, I eventually settled on the three lines that represent an abstract 3d perspective of buildings. The client selected the green color as they wanted to move away from the gold and black colors.

Insurers of Idaho website

I know, I know, it’s insurance. But hey, somebody’s got to do it, right? And if you need insurance wouldn’t you want to work with a company that looks out for you, finds you the best deal and does it at no cost to you? That’s what Insurers of Idaho does. They are an insurance broker that specializes in health care coverage for the state of Idaho, and they also specialize in helping you when it comes to dealing with insurance providers. We helped Insurers of Idaho create a cleaner, mobile responsive website that makes it easier for visitors to see what current insurance rates are for them, and to contact Insurers for a personalized health insurance quote. Check out the new site here.

Do you care? (About your website?)

WordPress now powers about 25% of sites on the interwebs. Its ease of use, flexibility and power have made it a go-to choice for many business owners.

Do you have a WordPress website? Do you know a business owner with a WordPress website? Is your care plan up to date?

Yeah, your care plan. It’s no good having a shiny, new website that stops working for you because it gets hacked, or has outdated software. Or think of it this way, how much business (ahem, money!) would you lose if your site was down for a day? Three days? A week?

At Graphic Zen, we provide our Client Care Plans to business owners and individuals who care about the results of their website. These clients want to focus on their businesses and not the tasks of keeping a website updated.

So what do our plans provide? In addition to core CMS updates, security monitoring and backups:

  • We provide and add value to your website.
  • We provide support to you and your team to make sure your site is up-to-date and running.
  • We help identify new projects for you so you can stay ahead of your competition

In addition, if you are on a client care plan we are able to offer strategy consulting on:

  • Social Media Integration
    • YouTube/video
    • Instagram
    • Facebook
    • Twitter
    • LinkedIn
  • Google Analytics
  • SEO/Content Marketing
  • And more

Stand Up America

Are you ready to Stand Up America?

On December 7, 2012 one of our clients, Derrick Boles began a journey of more than 1800 miles. Derrick and his Stand Up America campaign is an inspiring journey. Using an Elliptigo cycle, Derrick will ride from San Diego to New Orleans, with stops along the way to promote “the underdogs”, the non-profits, organizations and individuals that make a difference in their community. Often these “underdogs” are limited in funds, volunteers, and resources, yet they continue to provide, mentor, and make that difference.

After building the website for Stand Up America, Graphic Zen continues to provide ongoing support to Derrick by uploading videos to his site from his YouTube Channel. If you are interested, we encourage you to follow Derrick’s journey, and if you really want to help – consider making a donation to Stand Up America.

As Derrick says: Take the challenge, make the change and Stand Up America.

Leadership 1st for America

Very happy to announce our working partnership with Derrick Boles and the L.E.A.D.E.R.S.H.I.P. 1st for America organization. Leadership 1st’s mission is to engage, empower, educate and mobilize community based organizations through training, technical assistance and fund raising opportunities. We recently completed the first phase of their fundraising division, located at www.leadership1st.org. We’re now working on new logo designs for another division, Game Time International and hope to have those up soon for your viewing pleasure. 😉

Share The Scents Website

Just finished up a website for Independent Scentsy Consultant, Lisa Nelson. This site will be used by Lisa as a marketing and lead generation tool for prospective consultants and customers. Cougar Mountain Landscaping Website

Graphic Zen recently completed the website redesign for Cougar Mountain Landscaping. The new design features a “Video” page, where Cougar Mountain will feature videos of client landscape installs and DIY tips. Dave Wells, partner at Cougar Mountain said, “We really love the new design. It’s much cleaner and puts the focus on our projects through the use of many photos.”

The new site also features a comprehensive client survey – for those seeking a custom quote – that goes into great detail to provide Cougar Mountain with your landscaping wishlist. Once submitted, Cougar Mountain can provide a series of landscaping options to fit the clients’ budget.
